IPTV app for LG TV

Antena Play is on the LG app store for TVs with webOS 6.0 or newer. Add your IPTV playlist and watch with the remote, with no activation fee for the live TV from your playlist.

How to install on an LG TV

  1. On the TV home screen, open the LG Content Store (on newer TVs it is called Apps).
  2. Use search and type Antena Play.
  3. Open the result and choose Install.

The app is in the store for LG TVs with webOS 6.0 or newer, from 2021 on. Version 2, under review at LG, was also submitted for 2018 to 2020 TVs.

How to add your IPTV playlist on an LG TV

  1. Open the app and choose I have an IPTV playlist.
  2. Under Xtream server, fill in server, username and password; under M3U playlist, paste the link.
  3. Confirm with Sign in. Channels show up by category.

Your Antena Play account e-mail never goes in the Username field. Server, username and password are the ones from your playlist. If the app rejects them, check them with whoever provided the playlist.

    Under Xtream server, fill in the server, username and password with the on-screen keyboard and choose Add list.

    Got a link instead? Go up to M3U list, press OK, type the whole link and choose Add list.

    At the top of the screen, go to the gear and press OK.

    Under My lists, choose Manage lists.

    Choose Add list and fill it in like the first one. More than one list is a Pro feature.

Went into the free content? The I have an IPTV list button at the top opens the same form. The details asked for are your list’s, from your provider, not your Antena Play account’s.

    With the app in use, under the gear, in Settings, choose Sign in to your account.

    The TV shows a QR code and the TV code. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code, or open antenaplay.app/ativar and type the code.

    On your phone, enter your email and tap Send sign-in link. Open the link that arrives in your email and tap Authorize: the TV signs in on its own.

    The Pro screen shows a QR code (Subscribe on your phone): point your phone’s camera at it and finish subscribing on the website.

  3. No account yet? Sign in first (the steps above). Already subscribed on the website? Just sign in with the same email: Pro already works on the TV.

What you need

An LG Smart TV with webOS 6.0 or newer, from 2021 on. A stable connection and an IPTV playlist of your own, in Xtream or M3U format.

What the app does not do

Antena Play is a media player: it does not sell, provide or recommend playlists, channels or servers. It opens the playlist that you already have the right to use, and whoever adds a playlist is responsible for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on older LG TVs?

Today, on LG TVs with webOS 6.0 or newer, from 2021 on. Version 2, submitted to LG, includes 2018 to 2020 TVs. Until then, on those TVs you can use the player in a computer browser.

Do I have to pay an activation or license fee?

No. The app is free to download and the live TV from your playlist works with no activation. Pro is optional and can be tried for 7 days.

Where is the app store on an LG TV?

On the home screen, open the LG Content Store; on newer TVs it is called Apps. Use search and type Antena Play.

Does the app come with channels?

No. Antena Play is a player: you add the playlist you already have. With no playlist, you can watch the free, legal catalog of classics and shorts.
