Antena Play is a media player for Android TV, phone, tablet, iPhone and Smart TV. You add your own IPTV list, and the free catalog (the HUB) carries only legal content. Below are the most common questions, grouped by topic. Step-by-step instructions for each device are in How to use.

1. The app and your devices

What is Antena Play?

It's an IPTV player for Android TV, phone and tablet, iPhone, LG Smart TVs, Roku, Android devices with no store and desktop browsers (a Samsung version is on the way). You add your own list (Xtream or M3U) and watch in the app. There's also a free, legal catalog with public-domain classics, open-licensed shorts and public TV.

Which devices does it work on?

On Android TV / Google TV, on Android phones and tablets, on iPhone, on LG (webOS) Smart TVs from 2021 onward, on Roku, on Android devices without the Play Store (box, stick or TV) and in a desktop browser, at play.antenaplay.com.br. On Samsung (Tizen) Smart TVs, the app is on its way. The same account and the same list work on all of them; the steps for each are at antenaplay.app/instalar.

Does Antena Play provide channels, movies or lists?

No. Antena Play is only the player: it does not provide, sell or index lists or content. The list you add is yours, and its legality is the responsibility of whoever adds it. The only content we offer is the free catalog, from legal sources.

What is the free catalog (the HUB)?

It's a tab with free, legal movies and videos: public domain, open licenses (like Creative Commons) and public TV. You can watch it without a list and without an account.

2. Your IPTV list

How do I add my list?

In the app, choose "I have an IPTV list" and enter your list's details: an Xtream server (address, username and password) or the link to an M3U/M3U8 list. These details belong to your list, not to your Antena Play account. The list is saved on the device, and next time the app opens straight into it.

What's the difference between Xtream and M3U?

They're two list formats. With Xtream you enter an address, username and password, and the app organizes the list's content into categories automatically. With M3U you paste a single file link. Use the format your list comes in: both work.

Can I have more than one list?

Yes, with Pro: you can save several lists and switch quickly between them in Settings. On the free plan, one list at a time.

A channel or movie won't open or keeps buffering. What do I do?

It's almost always the list or the connection, not the app. Test your internet, check that the list is active and within its connection limit, and try another channel. If just one item won't open, the problem is usually that item's link in the list.

3. Account and access

Do I need an account?

No. To watch your list and the free catalog, you don't need an account. The Antena Play account (email only, no password) unlocks Pro and links your subscription to your devices.

How do I sign in without a password?

On the website, enter your email at antenaplay.app/conta and we'll send a sign-in link that's single-use and valid for 15 minutes. No password to remember, and the account is created on the spot if it doesn't exist yet. In the apps, you don't type your email: the device shows a code, which you confirm on the website (see How do I sign in on my TV or phone?).

I didn't get the sign-in email. What now?

The link arrives within a few minutes. If it didn't, check your spam or junk folder. It's valid for 15 minutes and can only be used once; if it expired, just request another. To improve delivery, add [email protected] to your contacts.

How do I sign in on my TV or phone?

In the app's Settings, choose to sign in: a code appears and, on the TV, a QR code too. Point your phone's camera at the QR code, or go to antenaplay.app/ativar, sign in with your email and enter the code. The device signs in on its own, with no typing an email with the remote. On Roku, it works the other way around: at antenaplay.app/conta, Screens tab, choose Connect a TV and type the code that appears on the Roku. On iPhone, both ways work. Step-by-step instructions for each device are in How to use.

How many devices can use the same account?

Up to 5 screens on the same account. You can manage the linked devices in your account, at antenaplay.app/conta.

How do I sign out?

In the app's Settings, use Sign out of your Antena Play account. This disconnects the account from the device, and your lists stay on it. The Sign out of your lists button, at the end of Settings, does the opposite: it removes the lists saved on the device and keeps the account connected, after asking you to confirm. On LG, until version 2 arrives, that button is still called Sign out. To free a device's slot, even one you no longer have, use antenaplay.app/conta, Screens tab, Unlink button.

4. Pro subscription and billing

What is Antena Play Pro?

Pro unlocks the on-demand movies and series (VOD) in your playlist, the full program guide, multiview (more than one live channel at once), multiple playlists, channel organization (hide and reorder), themes, parental controls and use on up to 5 screens on the same account. Live TV and the free catalog stay open, with or without Pro.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. When you sign in with your email, you get 7 days of Pro free. The courtesy applies once per account and once per device: anyone who has already used it won't get a new trial.

How much does it cost? Where are the plans?

The plans and prices appear on the subscription screen, in the app and on the site, with monthly, semiannual, yearly and lifetime options. Live TV and the free catalog cost nothing.

How do I subscribe or cancel Pro?

On Android, you subscribe in the app through Google Play; on iPhone, through the App Store. On Roku, LG, devices without Google Play and the browser, you subscribe on the website, at antenaplay.app/conta. Either way, the subscription stays in your Antena Play account and works on the devices connected to it. To switch plans or cancel, open your account on the website. If you bought through Google Play, manage it under "Subscriptions" on Play; if you bought on iPhone, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

I canceled. Do I lose access right away?

No. Canceling doesn't cut off immediately: Pro access lasts until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, the app returns to the free plan (live TV and the free catalog keep working).

I paid and Pro didn't show up.

Activation usually takes a few minutes. Check that you're signed in with the same email you used to pay, and reopen the app (or return to it) so it re-checks. If you bought through Google Play or the App Store, the payment confirmation can take a little while. If it persists, contact [email protected].

5. Privacy and support

How do parental controls work?

On Pro, you set a PIN and can hide adult content and turn on kids mode (the app opens locked to the Kids tab and Settings asks for the PIN). It's all in the app's Settings.

How do I delete my account?

At antenaplay.app/excluir-conta (or in your account settings). We erase your email, sessions, devices and subscription; invoices already issued are kept as required by tax law.

What do you do with my data?

The minimum needed for sign-in and the subscription to work. Your list credentials stay on your device, encrypted, not on our server. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
