Curated in-house: every work comes with a verified source, official artwork and a synopsis in Portuguese.
Why is it legal? The free collection includes only public-domain works, productions under open licenses (Creative Commons) and public broadcasts retransmitted with an explicit legal basis, such as TV Câmara, whose signal is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Public-domain status varies by country, so the catalog adapts to your country: the full collection is available in Brazil, while elsewhere the app shows the global selection (4K open shorts and Free Cinema).
The free catalogue can vary by region and by the store the app was downloaded from: part of the collection is cleared for Brazil only, and each store has its own rules about what may be distributed.

Frequently asked questions
Is Antena Play legal to use?
Yes. Antena Play is a media player, like VLC: it neither provides nor indexes playlists. The playlist you add is your responsibility, and the free catalog uses legal sources only.
Do I need an account?
No. The whole app works with no sign-up. The account exists only so a Pro subscription works across all your devices.
What does Pro unlock?
App features: the on-demand movies and series in your playlist, up to 5 screens on the same account (in sync, for now in the Android app), multiple playlists, parental controls, organizing channels, themes, the full program guide and Multiview — the last two vary by device. The free catalog stays free without Pro, and Pro does not include channels or content.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 7 days of Pro for free. Then you pick monthly, semiannual, yearly or lifetime, or stay on the free plan.
Are my credentials safe?
They are encrypted on your device and do not pass through our servers. The app has no analytics and no tracking.
How do I cancel?
From your account at antenaplay.app/conta, or in the store where you subscribed: on Google Play, under Subscriptions; on iPhone, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. The lifetime plan has no recurring fee to cancel.
